OSBE now building UK Dealer Network
Gatwick Distribution Services Limited is now actively seeking experienced UK dealers following its appointment by OSBE, the highly-rated Italian helmet manufacturer, as its new UK distributor.
James Phillips, managing director of Gatwick Distribution Services said, “OSBE is a massive brand in mainland Europe and I am pleased that we are able to represent them in the UK. We’re looking for specialist dealers already selling ski and snowboard equipment via retail outlets, mail or internet. A generous discount structure is available.”
OSBE’s wide range of mid-priced ski and snowboard helmets are stylish and cool and represent exceptional value for money.
Their safety standards are second to none.
Gatwick Distribution Services stock the full range of seven models of OSBI ski and board helmets.
These are the Proton, Start, Happy, Style, Rainbow, Crime and Force Fashion models.
All are available in Junior (50, 52, 54, 56 and 58 cm) and Senior (54, 56, 58, 60, 62 and 64 cm) sizes.
The Proton is sold in two shell sizes; a small shell for Junior sizes and a larger shell for Senior sizes.
Its standard visor is mirror coated for that distinctive look. Optional visors include clear, light-smoked and orange for enhanced vision in foggy conditions.
The strength and safety features of OSBE helmets was recognised by the Italian bobsled team who exclusively specified OSBE carbon fibre helmets for their attack on the 2006 Winter Olympics.
The OSBE helmet range represents the best possible in winter sport helmet design, a concept known as OSBE’s “Design for Life”. They are safe and technically innovative with their clever ventilation systems and inherent strength. Cool, youthful colours and styles make them attractive for users of all ages.
An ergonomic interior design makes them one of the most comfortable helmets on the market.
Today OSBE manufactures seven distinctive designs all featuring the OSBE hallmarks:
· HARD SHELL: Made of High Thermoplastic Resin, shells are composite thermoplastic resin mouldings with a high level of shock absorbing features, that are stable and paint resistant
· VENTILATION SYSTEM: OSBE’s unique Direct Air Flux system eliminates vapours and excessive heat. The expanded polystyrene liner incorporates ventilation channels to promote cold air circulation within the helmet
· HIGH QUALITY FINISH: These use stable, long-life paints that are scratch and UV resistant to minimise deterioration caused by solar rays
· COMFORT: Ergonomic interior for easy fitting and exceptional comfort is provided by the range of special density padding used in the areas of head contact. The lining itself is completely removable and washable for superior hygiene and comfort
· SAFETY: All models are certified to meet CE EN 1077 which specifies the protection given to the vital points of the head and its resistance to shock, penetration and accidental removal during an accident.
· QUALITY ASSURED: FISI certification ensures consistent quality control during manufacture and the fitting of an approval label – essential for competition use.
